emergency location reporting service (location) (ELRS)

Emergency Location Reporting Service (ELRS) is one of the services of the Mobile Location Protocol ( MLP ) for Location Services( LCS). With this MLP service, the user position is communicated when an emergency is signaled via the mobile station. In this case, an emergency report with position information is generated and sent from the location server to the location service client.
