euro scale
The Euroscale is a color scale standardized in Europe that works according to the CMYK color model. It is used in four-color printing and works with the primary colorscyan, magenta and yellow as well as with a gravure color designated as Key (K). Rotogravure is a black print that is used only for partial contrast enhancement.
Many color shades can be printed from the colors of the Euroscale by mixing them. For example, the two primary colors 100% Y and 100% M become the primary color red (R) of the RGB color model. The color mixing values are defined in a color atlas.
In printing technology, the Euro colors and secondary colors obtained from them, as well as screened mixed colors, are printed in a color control bar for color measurement at the edge.
