extended state transition language (ESTELLE)

Extended State Transition Language (ESTELLE) is a special language for describing communication protocols. ESTELLE has been standardized under ISO 9074 and is used for distributed systems in the context of Open Systems Interconnection. Syntax and semantics are similar to the PASCAL programming language.
