finish-to-finish (PM)

In project management, finish-to-finish denotes the logical relationship between several activities.

Finish-to-finish determines the point in time at which an activity can only be completed when the preceding activity has already been completed. Finish-to-finish is determined by the project team or project manager and requires that the previous activity is completely finished before the subsequent one can be completed. Under no circumstances may the previous activities be completed later than the subsequent ones.
