gatekeeper request (H.323) (GRQ)

Gatekeeper Request (GRQ) is the request from an H.323 terminal to the gatekeeper for connection control. For this purpose, the gatekeeper performs a registration of the terminal.

With the Gatekeeper Confirm (GCF) control character, the gatekeeper confirms the Gatekeeper Request (GRQ) request of the terminal. With the control character Gatekeeper Reject (GRJ), the gatekeeper rejects the request Gatekeeper Request (GRQ) of the terminal device.
