high threshold logic (HTL)

High Threshold Logic (HTL) are logics with a higher response threshold that ensure increased noise immunity.

A higher response threshold means that the threshold values for" LO" and "HI" have a greater voltage distance to each other than is the case with other logics. In DTL log ics or DL logics, this is achieved by Zener diodes.

HTL logics operate with a higher supply voltage and can be usefully employed wherever the logics are exposed to high interference voltages and noise.
