hybrid PC

Hybrid PCs or 2-in-1 devices are convertible personal computers that can be used as laptops or tablets. A distinction is made between hybrid PCs with a display that can be rotated or folded (convertible PCs) and those that can be converted from a laptop into a tablet by removing the keyboard. These are the detachable PCs. The display then works completely autonomously as a tablet.

In accordance with their 2-in-1 function, hybrid PCs are controlled in laptop mode with keyboard, touchpad and computer mouse, and in tablet mode via the touchscreen or pen input. As an operating system, convertible PCs work with Windows 8 or Windows 10 because it is designed for finger input with its large tiles. Thanks to the flexibility of these devices, they can be used for surfing the Internet as well as for writing texts and letters and creating presentations.
