identity as a service (IDaaS)

Identity as a Service (IDaaS) is a cloud service for identity management and access management, Identity and Access Management( IAM), with which the customer can access its systems and the cloud. The IDaaS service is managed by a cloud service provider and is similar to a single sign-on( SSO) moved to the cloud.

The IDaaS service includes the provision ofidentities with which the various services and applications can be accessed. Access management includes authentication, and upon login, reporting tools provide the appropriate transparency for the user, usage time and duration.

Single Sign On (SSO) provides enterprise employees, business partners and customers with simple but highly secure access to all cloud services, mobile and enterprise applications. Security risks can be further limited through the use of Multifactor Authentication( MFA). Separate cloud directories for customers and partners also serve to increase security.
