inertial navigation system (drone) (INS)

Drones operate with inertial navigation systems, Inertial NavigationSystem (INS). Inertial systems allow drones to be controlled even when there is temporarily no GPS signal available to determine their position. Drones used the values determined via the GPS system and the inertial navigation of the INS system for speed and flight path control.
