An Intelligent Node for Basic Access (INOBA) is an intelligent node that can be connected between the network termination( NT) and the basic access. This node, a manufacturer-specific development, extends the performance features of the basic access. It enables local communication between the terminals connected to the S0 interface without using the public network.
