interdomain policy routing (IDPR)

Interdomain Policy Routing (IDPR) is a routing protocol based on a proposal from the Internet Engineering Task Force( IETF).

The IDPR protocol is an experimental routing protocol with a dynamic adaptation to the behavior of autonomous systems( AS). Routing encapsulates traffic and transmits it over the connection path according to the policies of each autonomous system. Interdomain policy routing is described under RFC 1479.
