international payment instruction (IPI)

With the International Payment Instruction(IPI), European financial institutions have created the prerequisites for an international electronic payment document.

The IPI standard works with the international bank account number( IBAN) and the 2D codePDF417. The code field of the PDF417 code is read with scanners or reading pens; the data exchange between the financial institution and the customer takes place in a known electronic form.
