lightweight phone control protocol (LPCP)
The Lightweight Phone Control Protocol (LPCP) offers Mecago a better representation of the connection data of VoIP networks on the terminals.
With the LPCP protocol, not only the connection setup is controlled, but also the presentation to the user.
LPCP also allows audio connections to be switched and tones, melodies and graphic animations to be controlled without significantly increasing the complexity of the telephone. The computing work is done by the server with this protocol, and not the clients, which keeps all options open for the future.
