lines per picture height (camera) (LPH)
Lines per Picture Height (LPH) is a characteristic value for the resolving power of digital cameras.
The LPH value is an objectively measured value and can refer to the horizontal and vertical of the image sensor. It correlates with image resolution and image sharpness.
The horizontal LPH value refers to the number of vertical lines that can be displayed in the horizontal axis. On the other hand, the vertical LPH value refers to the number of horizontal lines that can be displayed in the vertical axis.
