link quality source routing (Microsoft) (LQSR)

Link Quality Source Routing (LQSR) is a routing protocol for Wireless Mesh Networks( WMN) developed for Mesh Connectivity Layer( MCL).

The LQSR protocol can be used to connectcomputers to a mesh network. The LQSR protocol is based on dynamic source routing( DSR).

LQSR routing uses algorithms for routing that takes into account the available links, bandwidth and losses between nodes. From this data, the optimal route between the sending and receiving stations is calculated, taking into account the hops. The method used for this is called Weighted Cumulative Expected Transmission Time (WCETT). The route is therefore based on the weighted expected transmission time.
