local service point (LSP)

In mobile communications networks, location-aware applications can be offered via the user 's location information. In order to keep the spatial distribution of these services within very narrow limits, the location-based services are transmitted via local service points(LSPs). The LSP points provide the local services via Bluetooth or WLANs.
