Location Intelligence(LI) is location-based marketing that aligns geospatial data with business data.

Location Intelligence deals with the tracking ofcontainers, pallets, goods, equipment and people and correlates this data with logistics data, trade data and market data to gain information about its customers and their location. In analyzing the data, the LI process draws on data in the data warehouse. The results flow into business intelligence systems.

In location intelligence, geofencing and GPS modules are used to locate and encircle products and people.
