macro radio cell
In cellular networks and in mobile networks, radio cells are classified according to their size. Macrocells are the radio cells with the largest size. In mobile communications and WLANs, macrocells are used to cover large geographical areas. They range in size from a few kilometers to around 50 kilometers and can be used as overlay cells for microcells and can be supported by microcells for better coverage of the coverage area.
