If micropayment is the payment of small amounts of money on the Internet, then macropayment is the payment of larger amounts of money by credit card or direct debit. The amount limits are fluid. Some e-commerce specialists specify € 5 as the lower payment amount, while for others such an amount still belongs to micropayment.
