In general, magnetic stripes are narrow or wider flexible tapes with magnetizable coating. They can be used in passbooks, airline tickets, on parking passes, magnetic cards or other identification cards and are used to store user, customer, registration, time recording and authorizationdata or for account balances. Track 2 can store 40 digits; the storage density is 75 dpi. Storage is 4 bits and one parity bit. And track 3 offers space for 107 digits, also stored with 4 bits and one parity bit.
