In these systems, one antenna is usually used for each frequency range: i.e. one for the VHF range, another for UHF, for long wave, medium wave and short wave (LMK) and one or more parabolic antennas for satellite reception. The various antenna signals are combined via crossovers, amplified and routed via the trunk line or stub line distributors to the antenna sockets in the individual rooms, where they are terminated with 75 ohms.
