micro-miniature coaxial connector (MMCX)
The Micro-Miniature Coaxial Connector (MMCX) is an RF micro-miniature connector with a snap-in latch that allows connector rotations of up to 360 degrees.
Developed in 1990, the MMCX connector is a scaled-down version of the MCX connector, it has an impedance of 50 ohms, its frequency range extends to 6 GHz, and it meets European CECC-22000 specifications.
The microminiature connector is used in PC cards and in small RF components, and is suitable for PCB mounting because it is available in straight and angled forms. RG-316, RG-188 and RG-174 coaxial cables can be connected directly to the MMCX connector.
