network attachment control function (NGN) (NACF)
The Network Attachment Control Function (NACF) is a control function in Next Generation Networks(NGN).
Clients attached to a Next Generation Network are authenticated through the NACF function, receive their IP address, confirmation information, and so on. Once they are logged in, they communicate directly or indirectly with the Resource and Admission Control Function( RACF), through which they receive the desired bandwidths, Quality of Service( QoS), and access permissions for specific resources.
