Nuke attacks are among the DoS attacks against computer networks. Nuke attacks use incorrectly fragmented or invalid Internet Control Message Protocol ( ICMP) data packets that are sent to a destination address. These data packets are rejected and return to the source address, which resends them to the destination address.
