one time programmable (PLD) (OTP)

A One Time Programmable (OTP) is a Programmable Logic Device(PLD), a one-time programmable logic device.

An OTP device contains a programmable, non-volatile memory, a PROM or a PLD, which can only be written once. With PLD technology, programming can destroy a logic link or establish an additional link. Examples of this are the fuse technique and the anti-fuse technique. OTP blocks cannot be reprogrammed.
