When connecting new Bluetooth devices, there is a special operating mode with which the Bluetooth devices couple to neighboring devices and exchange their characteristic data via this.

The device coupling between neighboring Bluetooth devices is called pairing. Pairing ensures the radio connection of Bluetooth and the later recognition of the Bluetooth devices.

The pairing mode can be switched on and is displayed. Pairing takes place when the Bluetooth device is within one meter of the device to be connected. Paired devices show the pairing mode.
