pebi (Pi)

The petabinary, pebi, belongs to the binary system and corresponds to a value of '2^50'. This is a 16- digit number.

Data in pebi can occur with storage capacities. If one takes the standard as a basis, then storage capacities and can be indicated in Mebibyte( Mi), Gigibyte ( Gi), Tebibyte (TiB) or also in Pebibyte (PiB). There is a difference of about 13% between a petabyte, which is based on the decimal system, and a pebibyte, which is based on the dual system.
