phone book access profile (bluetooth) (PBAP)

The Phone Book Access Profile (PBAP) is one of the Bluetooth profiles used in automotive technology.

The PBAP profile simplifies access to the handset phone book and dialing of phone numbers. With the PBAP profile, the phone book entries can be sorted, changed and read out according to certain criteria. These functions are possible from the Bluetooth device.
