progressive web app (PWA)

A Progressive WebApp (PWA) is a website that behaves like a mobile app. The difference is that the Progressive Web App can be used directly, whereas the Mobile App must be obtained from a Mobile App Store and downloaded and installed on the smartphone.

Progressive Web Apps combine the features of traditional websites with those of mobile apps. Like normal websites, Progressive Web Apps have a web address and can be accessed via it at any time. Unlike traditional, editorial websites, Progressive Web Apps have a high user-friendliness and a higher computing power. The web pages of the PWA technology correspond in their appearance to those of mobile apps. PWAs correspond in their conversion rates to those of mobile apps, but have the advantage that providers do not have to invest in expensive native applications.
