pulse phase modulation (PPM)
Pulse phase modulation( PPM) is another variant of pulse modulation( PM). In this modulation method, the pulse has a constant pulse amplitude and pulse width; the phase relation of the pulse to the carrier signal changes.
If the modulation signal is positive, the modulated pulse signal precedes the carrier signal; if it is negative, it follows the carrier signal.
