record type definition (NFC) (RTD)

Various data formats and recording formats have been specified by the NFC Forum inthenear field communication(NFC) standards.

The file formats specified by the NFC Forum are mandatory to guarantee NFC-compliant communication between the NFC terminals and the NFC tags.

Record Type Definition (RTD) are standardized record types for NFC-compliant devices. These record types include embedded tags that can contain Internet addresses( URL), addresses or phone numbers, but also sound data or other data.
