Revenue sharing is a billing model for the provision of a service. It is used on the Internet primarily in affiliate programs.

In these Internet-based sales solutions, a provider places its online advertising on the website of a partner, such as an affiliate. In the revenue-sharing model, the provider shares a portion of its generated revenue with the affiliate partner. Revenue sharing is also used in other areas of the Internet, such as user-generated content. In this case, the provider shares part of its revenue with the content suppliers.
