Runtime as a Service (RaaS) is a cloud service offered by cloud service providers( CSP).

The RaaS service differs from other cloud services in its billing model. Only the pure computing time is billed and not the cloud resources. This means that users of the RaaS service only pay for the actual usage. If no computing operations are performed during a certain period, no costs are incurred. However, if many users use the RaaS service at the same time, then the costs rise sharply.
