Scalable Low Voltage Signaling Embedded Clock (SLVS-EC) is an interface standard for high-speed data transmission of industrial image processing systems.
SLVS-EC is the extended version of SLVS, where the clock pulse is transmitted over the data line and recovered by means of clock recovery.
The SLVS-EC interface has eight lanes and thus meets the high resolution and data rate requirements of industrial image processing and high- performance CMOS sensors in industrial cameras. With SCVS-EC, data rates of 19.2 Gbit/s are realized in version 1.2, which are to be doubled in a few years.
