The Service Management Access Point (SMAP) is the service management access system in Intelligent Networks( IN). The service management access point is a Physical Entity( PE) located at the physical layer in Intelligent Networks (IN). Under certain conditions, the Service Management Access Point includes the Service Management Access Function (SMAF).
