signalling link selection (SS7) (SLS)

The Signaling Link Selection (SLS) data field of the Message Transfer Part( MTP) in the SS7 protocol is used to determine the switching line. The assignment of the signaling message to a user channel ofISDN or GSM is done by the Circuit Identification Code( CIC).
