Smart posters are posters with which interaction is possible. These are posters that are equipped with an NFC tag. The integrated NFC tag contains information that interested parties can read with NFC-enabled smartphones.
Smartposters have a corresponding symbol in the place where the NFC tag is located. If the user goes near the hotspot with their NFC smartphone, it reads the tag, which then triggers a predefined function or takes them to the desired website. For example, such a smart poster can be used for interactive advertising for a movie. Reading the information leads the viewer to the movie website where he can watch the movie trailer.
Other applications for smart posters are display boards on which the NFC tag leads the viewer to more detailed information or information boards for directions at exhibition centers, airports or convention centers.
