Interference emissions are unwanted emissions. In addition to the actual transmit signals, every transmitter generates various other signals which cannot be suppressed either by circuitry measures or by increased RF tightness of the housing. These signals may be harmonics of the transmit frequency, mixing products or intermodulations generated by the oscillator or produced in the mixer. These unwanted emissions are called Spurious Emissions.
