standard location immediate service (location) (SLIS)

Standard Location Immediate Service (SLIS) is a service of the Mobile Location Protocol( MLP) for Location Services( LCS).

With the SLIS service, the position of one or more mobile users is provided upon client request. The MLP service is used when the position is needed immediately. The position notification can be sent in one message or in multiple messages if the request involves multiple mobile users.
