Stereometry is a method for creating 3D images.

In this process, the object is recorded with two offset cameras and a physical point of the object is used as the reference point of the two camera images. Only through this reference point, which must be uniquely identified, is it possible to calculate the 3D object via the angle calculation. Since the distance of the object and its depth are determined exclusively via the angle calculation, it is imperative that the computer recognizes corresponding image areas.
