surface pen
A Surface Pen is a battery-powered input device for personal computers, laptops and tablets that can be used to write, draw or make marks directly on displays.
Such a pen consists of an input tip, like a ballpoint pen, and several function keys for the eraser unit, the eraser, and for capturing and accepting manual input. The handwritten text or drawings are transferred to the computer via Bluetooth. Some Surface Pens have another function key that works like the right mouse button and can be used to control apps.
The functional possibilities of Surface Pens are extended by the pressure-sensitive input tip, because input options such as changing the stroke width or a color selection can be assigned to the 1,024 pressure sensitivities.
