synchronization channel (SCH)

The synchronization channel (SCH) is a logical channel used by mobile devices to synchronize with the mobile network. Various mobile radio systems such as GSM, cdma2000 and Wideband Code Division Multiple Access (WCDMA) work with synchronization channels.
