synchronization equipment clock (SEC)

The Synchronization Equipment Clock (SEC) represents the lowest hierarchy level in SDH synchronization after the Primary Reference Clock ( PRC) and the Synchronization Support Unit ( SSU). SEC is implemented internally in the transmission devices and is specified in ITU-T recommendation G.813.
