There are different service categories forpagingservices. With the tone-only ( NT) service category, single-value messages such as ON/OFF, tone/no tone can be transmitted. Accordingly, the mobile receivers(pagers) intended for this purpose are also referred to as tone-only receivers (NT receivers).
