trust center (TC)
The trust center(TC) is a trusted instance of the security infrastructure( PKI) that provides security services to users and communication partners.
A trust center can perform the functions of the certification authority( CA), registration authority( RA), key management center ( KMC), and key archive( KRC). Trust centers are also referred to as trusted third parties(TTPs).
The trust center, or a certification authority it uses such as a Registration Authority (RA), must establish the identity of a person requesting a certificate under the Signature Act. It generates a key pair for the applicant, which it hands over to him personally.
