unidirectional link protocol (Satellitenkommunikation) (UDLP)

Unidirectional Link Protocol (UDLP) is a communication protocol used for unidirectional traffic in satellite communication.

The UDLP protocol is a layer 1 protocol that determines the transmission mechanisms for the link. An autonegotiation provides physical signaling and error detection.

UDLP supports the detection and identification of neighboring stations and shuts down ports in case of incorrect connections.
