uniform color space (UCS)

UCS color spaces, Uniform Color Space (UCS), are all color spaces in which the same geometric distances correspond approximately to the same perceptual distances. This refers to the perceived color changes. The standardized CIE color spaces CIE-Luv and CIE-Lab have these properties.
