voice frequency (VF)

Voice frequency (VF) is the frequency range that encompasses human speech. This frequency range lies between 300 Hz and 4 kHz. The frequency range in which intelligibility and the recognition of voice characteristics are concerned lies between 300 Hz and 3.4 kHz. This frequency range is used for voice communication in telephony.
