wearable camera

Wearable cameras are portable miniature cameras that create images and videos from the user's perspective. They can be built into data glasses, smart headbands, helmets or other smart wear ables, or worn directly on the body to support lifelogging and recording of traffic, social and sports activities.

Micro cameras can be built as small, compact wafer-levelcameras(WLCs), or they can use liquid lenses like smartphone cameras. In terms of resolution, micro cameras come in low resolution all the way up to full HD at 1080p. Photo quality ranges all the way up to 15 MP image resolution.

Micro cameras, as can be seen from the name, are extremely small and measure only a few millimeters. They are equipped with batteries and can be installed in data glasses, small camera modules, headbands or helmets. The connection to the smartphone or a tablet is optionally via WiFi or Bluetooth Low Energy( BLE). The photos or video streams are stored on internal memories, which may well have more than 100 GB ofstorage capacity.
