window RAM (graphics RAM) (WRAM)
Window RAM (WRAM) is a high- performance two- port video RAM( VRAM) that has about 25% more bandwidth than a classic VRAM, but is less expensive. It has features that make reading data for use in block fills and drawing text more efficient. Window VRAMs can be used for high resolutions of 1,600 x 1,200 pixels and higher using true color.
